Resolution Carried by the Manawatu Flaxmilis’ Employees’ Ifnloiu
At a meeting of the above, held on Saturday, October 17th, the following resolution was unanimously carried :—“ That this Union endorses the action of the Trades Council Conference in urging the workers of the Dominion to vole No-License, and considers that, in the event of restoration being carried in a No-License district, the State should have the power to establish wine and beer depots, thereby eliminating the iactor of orivate profit.”*
