In the matter of the “ Laud Drainage Act, 1904,” “The Rating Act, 1904,’’ and the “Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901.” NOTICE is hereby given that the Board intends at a meeting to be held on 31st October, 1908, to make and levy a general rate of one farthing in the £ (capital value) upon all rateable properties appearing in the Valuation Roll of the Moutoa Drainage District, such rate to be for the period commencing Ist April, 1908, and ending 31st March, 1909. and further, to authorise the collection of one-eighth of a penny in the £ (capital value), being a portion of the Special Rate of sevensixteenths of a penny in the £, made and levied on the 27th Day of August, 1908, upon all rateable properties appearing in the Valuation Roll of the Moutoa Drainage District, Special Rating . District, and being for the period ending 31st March, 1909 — such rates to be due and payable in one sum, at the office of the Board, Council Chambers, Foxton, on the 14th day of November, 1908.
