At the Dunedin Magistrate’s Court yesterday two Green Island residents were sued for by a sheep owner, who claimed that defendants’ dogs killed six sheep •and damaged 227 others. _ Judgment was given for plaintiff for the amount claimed, and ,£5 103 cos^3. Mrs Hamer, of the Economic, and iher staff of assistants, are at present •busily engaged opening up the nrst of Spring goods, anda specia ■display of millinery will be made next •Saturday evening.—Anvx.
