Mr. H. Greig, President of the New Zealand Flaxmillers’ Association, has been advised that the shipping companies, in response to representations made by the Association, have decided to continue the present low rates of freight on hemp and tow which otherwise terminated at the end of this month, until the end of December. This concession is equal to an advanced price to millers of xos per ton.
