POLITICAL.
Mr Newman held another successful meeting in the Kairanga Hall last uight, Mr Lancaster presiding. His address was listened to with interest throughout, and at the conclusion a number of questions were asked aud answered satisfactorily. On the motion of Mr O’Loughlin, seconded by Mr Cohr, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the speaker for his address.
Mr Gardner spoke at Martou on Tuesday night.
