FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

A Special meeting ot the Foxton Borough Council was held in the Council Chambers last night. Present.—His Worship the Mayor (B. G. Gower Esq.), Crs Coley, Shadbolt, Jenks, Baker, Fraukland and Hennessy.

Cr Hennessy reported that he had inspected the lamp posts at island Bay. They were 10ft. and would cost about £ll. not consider they were H. better than the present ones.
