TWINS’ LOVE TRAGEDY.

Prefer to Die Rather Than be Parted. Vienna, July 21. A romantic love tragedy is reported from Edlitz (Austria). A pair of twin sisters, Maria and Anne Grabuer, who had been deaf and dumb from birth, committed suicide because they both loved the one man. The young man in question at first appeared equally devoted to both of the sisters, but a few days ago he called on their father and asked for the hand of one of them.

The girls, who were deeply attached to one another, could not bear the thought of one of them being sacrificed, and they settled the question by taking some poison. They were found dead, locked in each other’s arms, aud beside them lay a letter to the fiance explaining why they had died.
