There was a fair attendance to hear Miss Hughes’ address on NoLicense in the Masonic Hall last night. Mr K W. Frankland occupied the chair. Miss Hughes dealt with the success of Nolicense in the areas where it obtained and referred to the onward growth of the great reform movement, quoting the figures at each successive poll. Out of the 68 electorates in the Dominion only 18 polled at last licensing elections a majority of votes for continuance, Several electorates had just missed carrying no-license by a three-fifths majority by narrow margins, one electorate by only
