Mr John Stevens, M.P., made a very energetic battle for the Foxton Harbour Board Bill in his interview with the Minister for Railways at Wellington, yesterday, and it is hoped has secured a further step in the promotion of this important . measure. Mr Stevens is determined to leave no stone unturned in securing the rights of the district in this matter, and we are fortunate in having the Bill in the hands of so energetic and watchful a Member.
