A yellow cat, whose broken leg was cured by Christian Science, was one of the sights on the American battleship Missouri at Auckland. It fell from one of the upper decks down into the dry dock, and the surgeon said though its leg might be set it would only limp all its days ; but the Christian scientist took the animal to his cabin, treated it, and finally returned it as good as new. Part of the treatment is the study of books, and one young officer’s theory about the cure was that Christian scientist read his text books to the cat until the animal could stand it no longer and walked out of the cabin.—Wellington Post.
