HOCKEY.

The third match of the season against Moutoa was played by the Foxton Club yesterday afternoon and resulted in a win for the local team by four goals to one. For the winners Gordon scored three goals and Cook, one, while J. Bowe registered onefor the Moutoa Club. Mr F. Woods officiated with the whistle. This is the last match for the championship of the season, Foxton having asserted their superiority by winning all the games and scoring altogether ten goals against two.
