RAILWAY STATION PLATFORM.
In the House of Representatives on Friday, Mr John Stevens made vigorous complaints of the neglect of the Government in the matter of placing a verandah over the railway stations at Foxton and at Greatford station. He also said the sheep yards had been pulled down years ago to facilitate the v unloading of coal and had never been replaced, and at Bonny Glen the settlers wanted a shed in which to store their grain while waiting for trucks. At Waugaehu cattle landing yards were badly required.
