The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows : Hemp market dull ; very little business doing; no change in prices.
Yesterday’s Himatangi stock sale was very successful, all lines being quitted under the hammer. Quotations Hoggets, from 8s fid to iis; 4 year old bullocks, £§ i calves, 17s 6d; dairy cows sold well £6 to £9.
