FOOTBALL.
A meeting of the Foxtou SubUnion was held last night in Whyte’s Hotel, Mr P. T. Robinson occupying the chair. It was decided to play a rep. match with Horowhenua on Saturday, 25th inst., at Levin. Votes of thanks were passed to Mr Messena for mowing the football ground, and to Messrs Walker, Mansell,-John-son, and Osborne, for services in laying off the football ground. It was decided to hold a practice match between an A and B team on Wednesday next, for the purpose of selecting representatives in the match against Horowhenua. The teams will be selected after next Saturday’s match. The following team will represent Albion seniors v. Awahou on Saturday next: Cook, Broad, Hannah, Broughton, Charles, Puti Larkins, Meadows, F. and G. Robinson, Momo, Bird, Frankland, Williams, Hukiki. The following team will represent the Albion juniors against Awahou on Saturday: Raiha, J. and E. Walker, Gibbons, Furrie, Cook, Robbiu, Rauhihi, Howan, Webb, Cummerfield, Withers, Klien, A. The following team will represent the Awahou seniors against Albion on Saturday: Wanklyn, Spiers, W. and J. Coley, F. Davis, Pajesky, B. Spelman, Reihana, J. Joe, R. Jeffries, A. Beaton, P. Gunn, W. Hooker, L. Carter, Shea Shea.
The following team will represent Awahou juniors against Albion on Saturday: Spelman, Alzdorf, Withers, Walden, Johnson, Brown, Audreason, Walden, Martin, Dowl, Hickson, E. and W. Rowe, C. Wanklyn, P. Coley. Emerg. Chamberlain, Mansell, Hooker.
