This week a humorous verse won. Here it is;— Father was sneezy, Mother was wheezy, Baby with wind couldn’t sleep ; Absolutely no stopping to Uncle John’s coughing, Grand-pa was too hoarse to speak. From a family quite jolly, we grew melancholy, No enjoyment from life could procure; But our troubles soon ended, when recommended To try Universal Cold Cure ! One guinea has been posted to Miss L.
