MARRIAGE.

WIDSON—COWEEY. A quiet wedding was celebrated at the Presbyterian Manse this morning, by the Rev. G. K. Aitken, when Mr Bernard Albert (Bert) Wilson, second son of Mr Simeon Wilson, of Foxton, was united to Miss Eouie M. Cowley, eldest daughter of Mr Edwin Cowley, of Herefordshire, England. Mr Edgar Cowley gave his sister away, and Mr D. Wilson, brother of the bridegroom, officiated as best man. The bridegroom is well known and extremely popular in Foxton, having resided here from childhood. The bride arrived here from the Old Country some 18 months ago. We join with Mr and Mrs B. A. Wilson’s many friends in wishing them long life and happiness. The couple left for the Wairarapa, where the honeymoon is to be spent, after which Mr and Mrs Wilson will take up their residence in Palmerston, where Mr Wilson has accepted an engagement in one of the leading stores there.
