Sir, —Sometime ago there appeared in your valuable columns the statement that the new Foxton Post Office was to be taken in hand as soon as the Government architect could find time to prepare the plans. No doubt the Government thought, and rightly too, that this lame excuse was quite good enough to keep the sleepy Foxtonians quiet for another year or two, but where does the pushing journalist and the energetic member for the district come in, eh ?—I am, etc., Enquiring Eoon.
