Wholesale Desertions. Eondon, June 10. The New York correspondent of the Daily Mail reports that over a thousand men have deserted from the American fleet since it arrived in Californian waters. Owing to the superabundance of hospitalit} 7 the sailors are dissatisfied with life aboard.
