MOUTOA NOTES.

At the Moutoa school on Tuesday the children saluted the flag, and sang “ Rule Britannia,” after which they were addressed by the Headmaster and Chairman of Committee, The Board is granting a holiday either on Empire Day or June 3rd, and as the school chose Empire Day, the celebrations took place on Tuesday. The decking on the ShannonMoutoa bridge is now completed, and the men are engaged erecting the handrails. The approach on the Shannon side is metalled, and Mr C. Peterson is about to metal the approach on the Moutoa side.
