The much heralded season of the latest animated picture surprises, which the Messrs Macmahon have just received from the great French establishment Pathe Freres, will be inaugurated to-morrow evening at Foxton. A comprehensive selection from their extensive reper- J toire, embracing fantasy, dramatic story, and comedy will be given | r for the first time here. It is pro mised that the latest electrical mechanical effects will be broughjn into requisition, the old time ag . gravating “flicker” being effec tually effaced. Coloured Parisia subjects “The Flower of South,” “Japanese Women,’ “The Magic Mirrors,” “Piet rot’s Jealousy,” “The CabMj Boy.” Farce tragedies “The Quiet Hotel,” “The Haunted House,” “ Her First Bike Ride,” “Any Barrels to Sell” together with the highly sensational “ Point a to Point Steeplechase,” and tht£ great living picture suprise “ in the Alps.” In association the special engagement is announced of the popular young contralto, Miss Eorraine Tansley, who will appear in a repertoire of the latest illustrated song The season is necessarily restricted to two nights. On Saturday evening a complete change of programme will be given. The box plan is now open at Eevett’s.
