CHARGE OF MURDER.

Westport, May 23. At the conclusion of the evidehce|at 1 o’clock, the Jury retired for three-quarters of an hour, and, bn their return, the foreman stated that the jury, having carefully considered all the evidence brought before them concerning the circumstances of the death of Edward John Bourke, found in M’Laughlin’s cart-shed on May 8> were led to believe that Bourke met his death by foul play, and that Connelly, Haliman, and Anderson were all implicated in his death. Haliman and Anderson stand charged with murder, and will come before the Magistrate on Tuesday. Connelly is the Crown’s chief witness against the two prisoners.
