Other contributors to the programme were : —Mr Sherritt, song ; Master A. Rimmer, song (encored) and recitation ; Mrs song; Mr Bullard song (encored) : Miss V. Langley, song; Miss Cowley, song. Accompaniments were played by Mrs Bullard, Misses Furrie and Cummerfield. The competition of wool-winding, which caused much amusement, was won by Rev. P. J. Mairs and Mr C. Haydou. After refreshments, which were supplied by Mr Perreau, games were indulged in to the delight of all present. At the close, a vote of thanks was proposed by Mr Bullard, seconded by Mr Baker,, to all who rendered assistance. The announcement that a ‘ ‘ snowballing ” competition for ladies would take place at the next social, caused much enquiry. The Singing of the doxology brought a very pleasant evening to a close.
