lyouis Durand who is described as an “autophobe,” was arrested in Paris for systematically damaging motor-cars. Motorists having been mystified by, the large number of cars which have had tires punctured while held up by traffic at the corner of the Avenue de I’Opera and the Boulevard des Italieus, the police kept a watch, at this spot, and discovered Durand moving among the stationery cars, armed with a stiletto, which he prodded into the tires. Durand stated that he has sworn eternal enmity to motor-cars, and will never rest until they are all swept from the face of the earth. Our new season’s dress goods have now arrived, and samples of same will be posted on application to Watchorn, Stiles and Co. —Advt. For xi years he had suffered from acute bronchitis, and though I had him try a lot ot things, nothing seemed to give him permanent relief. A medical man advised me to get Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy, and I did so. A decided improvement was noticed before the first bottle was used, and I am pleased to state that after he had taken four bottles, he was completely cured, and is now enjoying the best of health.
