JAPANESE WARSHIP FOUNDERS.

Tokxo, April 30. An explosion sank the training cruiser Matsuhima, off the Pescadores. The Matsuhima was anchored off Makung when the magazine exploded and she foundered. Only the bridge is visible. Two cruisers rescued 141 of the crew, including some of the officers. The majority, including the captain, perished. ■ Her complement was 300, and included 58 cadets. It is feared the victims include Marshal Oyama’s sons.
