[to the editor.] Sir, —The Shannon Ferryman is assuming a very bold attitude. A man who pays nothing for the right to work a ferry and who is even provided by the ratepayers with ropes, repairs etc., and who should clear at least £i per day should surely need no protection. We look forward to seeing someone sued for is for evading the extortionate tolls. Then the play will begin, and “ by the powers ” we’ll see some fun,—l am, etc., Sandboy, Moutoa.
