The Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. The total imports of butter into United Kingdom lor week ending i.sth inst., amounted to 94,000 ewt., as compared with So,ooo ewt for the corresponding week of 1007 ; showing an increase of 14.000 ewt. Frozen Meat; There is a lair demand for all descriptions. Since our last advices prices for mutton and lamb are 1 ;d per -lb lower. Reef; lluidquurlets, Mai per lb lower. LTices for forequarters of beef arc b;d per Ur higher.
Messrs Dalgety and Company, f,td., report having held their
fortnightly sale of wool, skins, and hides oh Friday afternoon. The attendance of buyers was larger than usual, and prices for both skins and hides showed a slight advance on last sale rates.
