Hemp merchants are meeting with better inquiry from London buyers, but the latter show no disposition to advance their quotations, which remain on the basis of ,£26 10s for good fair on spot. It is interesting to compare the exports of hemp fora series of years, and March 31 is a convenient date for closing the hemp year. The figures compare asunder :
