MASONIC.
The installation of Bro. T. B. Sutton as W.M. of Dodge Rongotea and investiture of officers took place at the Masonic Lodge Rongotea last night and was attended by a large number of visiting brethren from the various Lodges throughout the district. The Installing Master was R. W. Bro. R. Fletcher, Grand Superintendent. Wor. Bro. Martin, a visiting bro. from Auckland, officiated as Director of Ceremonies and the officers were invested by Wor. Bro. A. D. Clemett. After the ceremony an adjournment was made to the Century Hall, where the brethren partook of a sumptuous banquet and the usual Masonic toasts were honoured. A pleasing innovation was the presence of ladies during the banquet which was most favourably commented upon by the principal officers. The local Lodge was represented by Bros.
