Startling Scene Created by Jews. Rome, April 21. A professor of a Vienna University,- his wife, and a friend gained admittance, through an Ambassador, to the Pope’s private mass. The Pope and 200 of his faithful adherents, were horrified to see them, after receiving from the Pope a consecrated wafer, eject the sacred symbol from their mouths. They were thereupon expelled. They declare themselves to be Jews, and said that they expected tofkiss the Pope’s hand, but did not know what to do with the wafer. They explained that they did not mean any disrespect by their action.
