Berlin, April 15

A crowd in Berlin made desperate attempts to lynch a murderer named Heidert.

Heidert is a degenerate. He murdered a youth, whose dissected remains were found wrapped in an apron. Heidert’s wife, an inmate of a hospital, identified the apron as belonging to her.

The Maitland Murder.

Sydney, April. 17

The girl Lilian Bridge, aged 16 years, who was murdered in a paddock near Maitland, was on her way at the time to meet a younger sister. The sister was employed at the house of the father of Green, the young man who has been arrested on suspicion. Green was among those who flocked to the scene of the tragedy, and who joined in expressions of horror.
