FOOTBALL.

The Albion Football Club put off a game with the Shannon team last Saturday in order to meet the Awahous in a friendly game, but only one or two of the latter players put in an appearance, much to the disappointment of the former team. I think something should be done in reference to calling a meeting of the controlling body, otherwise the game will go back in this district this season. Because of the departure of one official, surely one of the others have the gumption to call a meeting. A certain player on Saturday last will have to control his language on the field of play otherwise he will be put aside for a time.
