IN BANKRUPTCY.

A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Lye Moon, grocer, Foxton, was held yesterday before Mr G. J. Scott, D.O.A. Mr Moore appeared for bankrupt, and Mr Fitzherbert for Dong Hon, one of the principal creditors. There were also_present Wong Lee and Lye Hop. Bankrupt stated he went into partnership with Lye Hop either in May or June, 1905. Lye Hop paid between and ,£l2O into the business, while bankrupt put in £55. He did not owe money to anyone, but did not know if Lye Hop did. When he dissolved partnership with Lye Hop on 22nd April, 1907, the sum of ,£275 was owing by the firm. Their assets amounted to £275 16s rod, besides a sura ;of £l6O due to them for credit sales. He thought that between and £l2O of this amount was collected.

The meeting terminated without any motion being taken.
