The death took place at Palmerston North on Sunday last of Mr W. H. R. Flyger, after an illness of seven years. The late Mr Flyger, who was born in in 1845, was the eldest sou of the late Mr W. H. Flyger, merchant, of Wellington. Deceased served his cadetship in the Government Survey Department and took an active part in cutting up the Wairarapa and Manawatu districts. Amongst his associates of the survey party in the early days were the following : —Messrs Marchant, Stewart, Downs, Kelleher, Foster, Dundas, Carkeek, Drummond, and Alsdorf, the latter still resident in Foxtou, He leaves a grown-up family of five sous and five daughters. His brothers and sisters are Mr H. T. Flyger, Fitzherbert ; Mr J. Flyger and Mrs George Sample, of Wellington; Mr S. L. Flyger, England ; and Messrs John Flyger, Melbourne. Ask any mother m this community who has used Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy what she thinks of it.
