Mrs Morgan, sen., of Avenue, was poisoned yesterday, through swallowing some liniment by mistake. She was removed to Dr Mandl’s residence, where the usual remedies were applied. Mrs Morgan was unconscious for several hours, but we are very pleased to say she is making satisfactory recovery. All goods will be sold at a great sacrifice during the drapery sale ai the Economic (Mrs Hamer’s) in order to make room for the arrival of new goods.*
