MONTGOMERY'S ENTERTAINERS.
The versatile and entertaining Montgomery Company played to a full house in the local Public Hall on Tuesday night last. The bill-of-fare submitted was new, novel, educational, and highly entertaining, and every item was thoroughly appreciated by the large audience. The animated pictures were as near perfection as any we have ever seen, ‘‘The King and his Navy ” series, coming in for great admiration. When Mr Montgomery finished his vocal item, ‘‘The Cuckoo,” the audience simply brought down the house, and the singer was compelled to respond to an undeniable encore, as was also Miss Hilda Hargood, in her rendition of '* Why did they sell Kilaruey.” The pictorial melodies were equally as successful, and in fact, as one of the audience remarked, ‘‘You can always get more than your money's worth by patronising ‘ Montey’s ’ shows !”
