ANTI-ASIATIC LEAGUE.

The following are the rules of the Foxton branch of the abover Teague :

x. That the name of the Teague be “The Foxton Anti-Asiatic Teague.’’ 2. This Teague shall have an Executive Committee of not less than i2 members, and shall include President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary, to be elected annually, seven to form a quorum. 3. All property and monies to be vested in the four Executive Officers, who shall act as Trustees. 4. The Executive Committee shall elect members to fill vacancies caused by resignation, death, or absence from three consecutive meetings without leave. 5. No member shall be allowed to vote by proxy. 6. All monies received shall be placed in the Bank by the Treasurer, and no account shall be paid without the consent of the Trustees. 7. The President and Treasurer to sign cheques for payment. 8. No subscription shall be received from Asiatics. 9. The Executive Committee to meet during the first week in each nnnth. 10. The President, Secretary, and two members may call special meetings as occasion requires. 11. All members to refrain from buying from Asiatics, and each member to use his influence to persuade others to do likewise. 12. Distribution of monies to be as follows: 25 per cent of all monies collected to be forwarded to the General Secretary of the New Zealand Anti-Asiatic Teague for organising in the Dominion of New Zealand, 50 per cent of the funds to be placed to the credit of the Teague to pay working expenses ; 25 per cent to be allowed the Secretary and Canvasser to this Teague, to defray his expenses in connection with organising and canvassing the district. 13. A Ticket to be issued for each separate subscription received.

14. The books of the Teague to be balanced in the months of January and July of each year, and a statement made out showing the receipts and expenditure.
