HEMP MARKET.

The High Commissioner reported by cable yesterday, that the hemp market is fairly depressed, and on account of advices from Manila, all fibres are offering at much lower prices : —Good fair grade, on spot, is quoted at £2s ; fair grade, £24. per ton ; MarchMay report shipments, £24 10s and £23 ss, are quoted respectively for good fair and fair grades.
