An Improved Stripper, Messrs Watson and Windr-local flaxmill employees, have, patented an .improved ' stripper, which is now installed at the local ManawatuFibre Co.’s mill. The machine, which is a decided improvement on the ordinary str|pper, bas a lever weight attached ‘to the heater bar, which’allows any Size of blade without danger of bruising the fibre and maintaining a uniform thread. The improved machine is capable of stripping a larger quantity o! green leaf, and is much' more easily driven. We are informed that ,Mr Macdonald will instal the patent in his mill at an early djate.
