Preparations are well in hand for to-mo-row and Thursday’s meetings 01 ;ihe local Jockey Club. Secretary Keith and the Stewards have made all the necessary arrangements for (the convenience of .the general public, owners, trainers and jockeys. The track is reported in excellent condition. . Applications have been received from ig bookmakers to ply their calling on the course. Provided the weather holds fine, there is every prospect of record attendances on both days. Most of the horses engaged at the meeting haye arrived, end accommodation in Foxton js at a premium,, all the hotels reporting “full up” in answer Jo enquiries. The local Borough Band has been engaged to play at the course to-m arrow ,aud Thursday. The catering is jq the hands of Mr George Lftßgte/.*
