Ca*upbellBannerman’s residence at Downing Street while Cabinet was sitting, shouting “Votes for women.’’ Four were arrested. Two had chained themselves to the rails in frort of the house, compelling the police to break the chains. The four suffragettes arrested outside Sir H. Campbell-Banner-man’s house declined to sign a recognisance to be of good behaviour, and were seat to gaol for three weeks.
