AN ISLAND MURDER.

Brisbane, January 4. News from the Solomon Islands states that Captain McKenzie, of the ketch Minota, went ashore at the island of Malaita on November 15th to obtain recruits. The natives seized, pinioned, and tomahawked him before the eyes of the crew. The natives looted the Minota, but molested no others of the crew.
