At the local Police Court yester- ‘ ' •/ day morning, before Messrs Tiros. ' ’ Rimmer and P. Hennessy, J’s.P., Charlotte Massena applied for a r- prohibition order against A. H. " Arbon, for whom Mr Reade apK'V- peared. After hearing evidence of 'k applicant, the Bench decided to ■ adjourn the case for a mouth.' , A young man named Joseph "Henry Connor, a recent arrival, ---was charged by the police with ,V;' “the thpft of several articles of l i' clothing, valued- at ios, from \'r Newth’s boardinghouse, the property of an absent boarder.
