THE DRUCE CASE.

London, Dec. 2

In the Druce case the witness Caldwell was cross-examined, He said he was unaware that there was a tombstone in the Londonderry cemetery to the memory of his daughter Caroline. If there was, it must have been erected by his brother William, since Caroline was buried at Aghavea. 1 1 the Highgate grave was opened and the coffin showed an inscription that Druce was buried there, it would not affect his testimony, as the inscription must have been placed on since the coffin was dedeposited there. A gardener who was employed by tne fifth Duke of Portland deposed that Druce’s photograph did not resemble the Duke.
