FIRE AT MARTON.
Four shops Destroyed. Marton, Dec. 4. The second big fire within the last month broke out in Marton about two o’clock to-day, totally destroying J. M, Nichol’s shop, refreshment roqpis, and bakehouse, and the premises ofß. G. Goebl, fruiterer and produce merchant ; J. Milligan, crockery and ironmongery store ; and Max Bornhold, jewellery shop and dwelling. The brigade worked splendidly, and saved several adjoining buildings.
