Feildingßaces—First Day. The above meeting took place yesterday in good weather. Bookmakers refused to pay the £2O license fee, and so were debarred from entering the course, but,they took up a stand outside the gate. The totalisator showed a decrease of £655 on last year’s turnover for first day. There was an accident in the Kiwitea Welter. Sherkeyn fell and Rendrock fell over him. The latter and his rider (W.
