THE WORLD’S PICTURES.

As advertised elsewhere, the famous World’s Pictures and Concert Party will make their first appearance in the Public Hall on Saturday, November 16th, when the Foxton public will be treated to something above the ordinary. It is quite safe to say that no finer display has been witnessed locally. The exhibition all through is a veritable artistic triumph, and one which we do not expect to see surpassed for many long days. The ingenuity, skill, and enterprise shown in coping with the public demand for ocular entertainment is amazing. But the World’s Pictures have been foremost in securing the very best procurable views for their patrons, There are pictures to suit every taste, and every picture in itself is a work of art. The exhibition comes direct from London, Paris, and New York, and it is said to be the best of its kind. The show in all is compact, full of fun, instructive, and educational, and the heads of families should not lose the chance of taking their children. Included in the company are six artists, all of whom have earned a world-wide reputation ; Mr Will Rawsou, humourist; Miss Hilda Martell, a sweet singer ; Mr Claude Wilmot, baritone ; Roland Reis, comedian and dancer ; Miss Rosie Fvison, a charming serio and modern Apolo the great stature prince. We can confidently recommend the entertainment to the most fastidious theatre patrons, and as the season is limited to one night only, we feel sure that a bumper house will greet the company on Saturday night, when the popular prices will be charged, viz;, 3s, 2s, and ts, children half-price.
