Armit, 51, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on October a6th, at 10 p.m., for events x, 4,5, 7,8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13, Handicaps will appear on or about 2nd November. Acceptances clase on ground 30 minutes before advertised time of starting each event. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Cycling events run under League of N. Wheelman's Rules. Other events run under rules of N.Z. Athletic Union. No nomination will he accepted on any account without proper entrance fees, and statement of all public performances for past two years (matches included); if not any, the last live performances to he given. All competitors must be on their marks at the appointed time for each event, and anyone not answering to the starter’s eall ma} r be disqualified. Three competitors to start, or no first przie ; four, or no second ; live or no third. The Committee may require any competitor to prove his identity further than by declaration should they think lit to do so, and will reserve the right to stike out any event should there not he sufficient entries to satisfy them. Competitors leaving their mark c fore the pistol is tired will he put hack one yard for each offence, and anyone not going back when required may he disqualified. Any competitor found jostling will he iramediutely disq.ualitied. All protests must he raa(lc within 1.5 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with a deposit of Ids, which will he forfeited should the protest he considered frivolous; and all protests against competitors entering under false nr incorrect performances shall he derided at 8 o’clock in the evening, or later, if the Committee deem necessary, and all prize money held over. No competitors shall be allowed to sit on any protest or give any information unless asked for. The Committe reserve the right to postpone the sports from day to day should the weather prove unfavourable, and their decision shall be final in carrying out the programme. Costumes to he approved of by the Committee, and any competitor not making the required declaration shall not he entitled to claim any prize, Refreshment Booth on the Ground. Special trains from Peilding and Palmerston North. A special tram will run from Pukenni and Sanson. Trains will stop at the Ground. A Brass Band will be in attendance. Concert in the evening. Programmes can he obtained on application to the Secretary. First race to start at 11.15 a.m. sharp. Admission to ground: Adults Is, Children under 12 years half-price.
