AMERICA’S FINANCIAL CRISIS.
The cables tell us that the financial deadlock in America is seriously affecting the industries, and 60,000 workers are idle owing to the temporary abandonment of undertakings and other causes. The difficulty in obtaining currency in order to pay wages is increasing, and the mints are working day and night coining gold. As we have previously mentioned, this crisis in a large measure, is the principal cause in the fall of the prices of hemp. It is expected that the crisis will be past in the course of two months.
