TO-MORROW’S SENSATION.
Foxton Masonic Hall. It is probably not necessary to remind the Foxton town and country residents of the auction sale of draper, etc., in the Masonic Hall, beginning to-morrow at 1 p.m., and continuing on Thursday, Frida}', and Saturday, at the same time and place. The goods are all of high-class quality, all useful, and needed every day. There will not be the slightest reserve, every article for which a bid is taken will be knocked down to the highest bidder, whether it reaches first cost or not. There is no luxury about the goods, every article is a daily necessity. The bed quilts are particularly striking, both in variety and quality. This line of goods fairly staggered the Palmerston public last week. The Nottingham lace curtains are direct from looms, and although those in the trade stand aghast at the prices, the company please the public, and all is well. The gentlemen’s tweed suit lengths are also in great demand. Toilet sets, tea sets, general crockery, glass ware, cutlery, electro - plate ware, etc., are also dealt out to the highest bidder. The nine and eighteen carat gold dress rings are fair eye-openers. Go an I see them, all English hall-marked, and guaranteed to stand the acid test. Get along to the Hall this week ! Save money ! Don’t stand shivering on the brink ! Jump right in !—Advertisement,
