ANNUAL MEETING.
Foxton Cricket Association. The above meeting was held in Mr Rough’s rooms on Wednesday evening. The following delegates were present: —-Messrs Woods, Wanklyn (chairman), Nye, Rough Redgrave, Bowe, Smith, and Mainwaring (secretary). The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows - Patron, J. Stevens Esq., M.H.R.-; President, O. Robinson Esq ; VicePresidents: Messrs O. Austin, W.; J. White, G. Coley, G. Phillips,/, G. W. Morgan and H. Coley-fj” Hon. Secretary, W. E. Mainwaring ; Hon Treasurer, W. S. . Stewart. The balance-sheet as read was ... adopted. It was decided to notify the Shannon Club that in event of affiliation they would play home and home matches with Foxton, Debaters and' Moutoa Clubs, and that they supply a suitable pitch at Shannon. The opening day was fixed for November 6th, with first match competition. Decided that matches start at 2 p.m., and should teams not beat the wickets by 2.15 p.m,, that the match be forfeited. Championship points to count as followsDJaw, 1 ;point;; win on one innings fame, 2 points ; win on two innings game, 3 ‘ points att > innings win, 4,points. J N The following- Ground Committe were elected: Messrs Woods, Redgrave.and Nye. It was decided that the fees to to the Association be £2 2s. The secretary was instructed to purchase a laurn mower. Votes of thanks concluded the meeting.
